Onomy courses are generally a week long during holiday time, some specific courses may be for a day or weekend. Onomy leaders are trained while being a leader. There are 5 levels of courses which we are currently building up. As the courses are only ever one week at a time it makes it possible to be part of an Onomy leadership team and attend the courses during school years, studying and working. This means all the experience, ideas, knowledge and know-how gained during the course can be put straight into practice in the Onomy group and personal life. The courses can be attended and built on over the years.
The courses are led by a mixture of full time workers and trained, knowledgable and experienced volunteers. The 5 levels are all taught in a very practical way. A short description of each course level is below.
